<aside> 💡 How can I apply to join the crew? Click the Apply tab at the top of this page to begin your crew application.

<aside> 💡 Do I still need to complete a general application? Yes: all crew applicants must still complete a general application to be eligible to attend or volunteer OKX Hackathon.

<aside> 💡 Am I guaranteed to join the crew if I apply? No: unfortunately, we can only accept a limited number of volunteers for OKX Hackathon March 2023, so not all applicants will be accepted and become part of the crew. However, we still have more upcoming hackathons waiting and you’ll always have chances for them.

<aside> 💡 What do crew members do? Crew roles and responsibilities change depending on the team, so be sure to review the team information on this page. In general, crew members are assigned specific shifts to provide support to hackers and the OKX Hackathon committee. You can expect to be assigned to a specific area of our hackathon during your shift. In exchange for your time spent volunteering, you’ll unlock specific perks (not to mention our eternal gratitude)--more details about crew perks and requirements are on this page.

<aside> 💡 How much will I have to work? During your crew application, you’ll be able to specify your desired hours and availability. All crew members are expected to volunteer for at least FIVE hours during the hackathon, but keep in mind that minimum hours will change if you choose a leadership role such as Crew Lead. <aside> 💡 Do I need prior experience? Some teams do require prior experience for you to be eligible to apply to join the crew. Others just require a willingness to learn and contribute! Take a look at the team information on this page to figure out which team will be the best fit for your skills and interests.

<aside> 💡 Can I apply for other roles in addition to applying for one crew role? Yes: you can apply for multiple roles. Be sure to complete your general application in addition to any other role-specific applications you complete. Keep in mind that your availability for crew may be impacted by your acceptance for other roles.

<aside> 💡 What are the next steps after I apply? Once you’ve completed the crew application, you’ll receive an email right away from us letting you know that we’ve received your crew application. We review crew applications as quickly as possible, so if you don’t hear back about your application, please be patient! We will continue to communicate with you along the way.
